DAZO® Fluorescent Marking Gel facilitates hygiene audits by providing a quick and objective assessment after cleaning completion.
DAZO® Fluorescent Marking Gel is invisible to naked eye and can only be seen under UV light. It is easy to use and it provides a consistent and reproducible cleaning challenge. Each unit has 2ml gel and can produce 25-50 markings depending on operator’s applying force.
Assessment For Cleaning Completion:
1. Break open the valve in the middle of DAZO by squeezing the tube.
2. Apply DAZO on spots you would like to assess for cleaning completeness such as door knob, bed rails, toilet seat, etc.
3. Cleaning assistant follows daily procedure to proceed cleaning.
4. After cleaning, auditor uses UV flashlight to check any residual DAZO markings, if so, it means the cleaning assistant fails to clean thoroughly.
